The pastor's retreat cabin--Solitude--is available for up to three nights per visit, for pastors, missionaries, and other ministry professionals--providing a place to get away from regular day to day routines. Solitude is a modern A-frame cabin with all the comforts of home--with the exception of a telephone and a television--and was made possible by a generous donation from one IBC family! You can pick up your key in the WHITE MAIL BOX on the outside wall of the OFFICE next to the DOOR. Just leave it in the cabin when you leave. |

The following information will help you prepare for your visit:
}The
Solitude Cabin will sleep up to 7 people—1 Queen size bed
(separate bedroom), 3 single beds (in the loft), and a double sofa
bed (living room).
}Sheets
are furnished for all beds.
}Towels
are provided, but for longer stays, swimming, or larger families,
you may want to bring extras.
}There
is a full kitchen with dishes and cooking utensils.
}There
are a number of local restaurants in town—Ahoy Fountain, Subway,
}Jerry’s
Pizza (Steak) House, Pizza Ranch, and the Hy-Vee Deli.
}For
grocery needs there is a Hy-Vee and a Fareway.
}You
are welcome to eat in the dinning hall,
if meals are being served during your visit.
}Various
seasonal recreational activities are available for your
use—canoes, paddle boats, and hiking/biking trails and a swimming
beach in the State Park.
}Rest
assured... no one will visit, or otherwise disturb you, during your
stay!
}Please...
no pets. Feel
free to give us a call if you have any questions.
Please let us know within 24 hrs (if possible) if your schedule
changes. Enjoy
